What SteadySkin is

SteadySkin is a patient-controlled recordkeeping and conversation-support tool. It is not a healthcare provider, emergency service, or substitute for professional care. It does not diagnose, prescribe, choose a treatment plan, check interactions, interpret a photo, or decide whether a symptom is a side effect or emergency.

Website content is general educational information, not medical advice. Obtain qualified professional care, follow authoritative instructions, and contact local emergency services for an emergency or severe symptoms.

Who may use it

SteadySkin is intended for people age 13 or older. A parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms for a user who is 13 or older but has not reached the age of legal majority where they live.

SteadySkin is not directed to children under 13. A child under 13 may not create an account, join a waitlist, submit personal information, or use a feature that sends information to SteadySkin. If you believe a child under 13 sent personal information, contact support so it can be reviewed and deleted as required by law.

A parent or legal guardian who agrees for a minor is responsible for supervising that minor's use. Do not use SteadySkin in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

Permission to use the app

You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the app on Apple-branded products you own or control, subject to Apple's applicable usage rules. You may not resell or sublicense the app, evade access controls, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service, or reverse engineer it except where law gives you that right.

Your records and files

You keep your rights in information and photos you enter. You permit SteadySkin to process them on your device and to perform an export, support action, or other feature you deliberately request. SteadySkin does not take ownership of your health record or photos.

You are responsible for entering and sharing information lawfully, obtaining permission for information about another person, protecting access to your device, reviewing records for accuracy, and retaining usable recovery archives. Losing, erasing, replacing, or removing the app from a device may permanently remove records that were not successfully exported.

SteadySkin Plus and Apple purchases

SteadySkin is available without payment and SteadySkin Plus is optional. Apple displays the current price, subscription period, renewal, and any trial or offer terms before you confirm a purchase. Apple processes payment and controls billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, billing recovery, revocation, and offer eligibility under its rules.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Restoring a purchase restores an eligible SteadySkin Plus entitlement, not health records or photos. Ending Plus does not delete, hide, or make the existing local health record unexportable, though creation of new Plus-only items may be limited.

Third-party services

Apple, email providers, file destinations, clinicians, manufacturers, linked websites, and other third parties have their own terms and practices. Their terms apply when you choose to use them. SteadySkin does not control their medical, payment, privacy, or security decisions.

Availability and changes

Features may be updated, corrected, suspended, or discontinued for safety, security, legal compliance, platform compatibility, or product viability. SteadySkin is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, data preservation, or a medical outcome. Nothing in these terms removes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be removed.

Stopping use and changes to these terms

You may stop using SteadySkin and delete local data at any time. Permission to use the app may end after a material violation of these terms, subject to applicable law. Updated terms will show a new date, and additional notice or consent will be provided when required.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, SteadySkin and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or loss arising from reliance on general educational content. This limit does not exclude liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

You remain responsible for seeking professional care, checking records before sharing them, keeping suitable backups, and deciding whether to follow information from a third party. SteadySkin does not promise a diagnosis, treatment result, coverage decision, or uninterrupted access to a device or service.

Governing law and disputes

This version does not yet designate a governing-law jurisdiction or venue. The law where you live may give you rights that cannot be changed by contract. The final governing-law and venue language requires owner and counsel review.

Before filing a claim, you may contact support and describe the issue so the parties can try to resolve it informally. These template terms do not require arbitration. Any later arbitration provision would require a dated update and any notice or consent required by law.
